At a C-Tier event, what Ace Pool fee would you most prefer?

I voted for $2 for the C-tier (or any tournament), but would stay w/ $1 for leagues.

So those brainiac ph.d. disc golfers in Ann Arbor run an ace pool where you can pay $2 to get in the ace pool or $5.  If you pay $2 and you get an ace you get one share of $2 times the number of players who got in.  If you pay $5 and you hit an ace you get one share of the whole pot.  So like if a $2 player and a $5 player both hit it, they split the $2 portion and the $5 player gets the remainder.

All the pros were getting in for $5.  The ams were confused and did not get it, and most paid their $2.  I looked at the situation and thought, "This is a fiasco in the making.  The guy running this is going to go home early and no one is going to know how to pay it out at the end of the day.  I kept my $2 in my pocket.

My pessimism was proved wrong, as it so often is, but not getting in for $2 turned out to be the right bet.  A $2 player got an ace and they had a throw off for the remainder of the pot.

Moral of the story:  Brett's poll ought to let the pollee click off more than just one number.   :D

Jeopardy Answer:  This former national doubles champion never enters an ace pool intentionally and whenever he wins one by accident he refuses to accept the cash.

Your answer must be in the form of a question.

Who is Jon's favorite Mover and Shaker disc golfer who is not a Brakel?

I didn't want to give away the answer, but Bruce should know that I know.  ;)

2 bucks is good
sometimes you have to leave early to meet other obligations
sometimes the T will end if no one got an ace and theres
a throw off  you have to descide to stay or go 2 bucks is a little easier to let go than 5   imho
