Since I coach @ Carmel HS in Mundelein, I have to sell a few final 4 fundraiser tickets. I sold 1 my first year and 2 last year. This year i'm shooting for 3.
This money will be used for a new track and turf football field.
The tickets are $100.00 each. Only 500 are sold. The winner gets $10,000. 10 spots are paid but drop off drastically from first place. I have a ticket at home if anyone is interested in how much is paid for spots 2 thru 10.
I have already sold one of the tickets for $100.00
I know a lot of people don't have $100.00 to spit out, so i'm doing it this way.
I have 2 tickets. A $10.00 ticket & a $20.00 ticket.
I need 10 poeple on the $10.00 ticket.
I need 5 people on the $20.00 ticket.
All winnings will be split by the # of people on each ticket.
Let me know if you are interested or need more information.
Thanks
Brett
Brett - I'll take one share of the $10 ticket. I'll give you the $10 next time I see you.
Brett, how is this game played? How is a winner picked?

It's an official process.
The final 4 party is held in our gym. The games are on 4 big screens during the night. They use a projector to air the games. I'm estimating the screens are 8X10feet & are placed on all 4 sides of the gym. It costs $25.00 per person to get into the gym for all you can eat/drink all night. Yes, beer & smoking is allowed. They set up a casino & do other side raffles as well.
The raffle tickets are printed & #'d then distributed to coaches.
Sold by coaches
All 500 are placed into a big spinning wheel right before the final 4 begins.
The Athletic Director & Assistant Athletic Director run the drawing.
There are 10 envelopes that are #'d 1 thru 10.
The AD pulls out the first ticket & places it into the #1 envelope. They seal the envelope.
They continue to do this until all 10 envelopes are filled.
During the timeouts of the final 4 games, the losing tickets are drawn & crossed off the board.
By the end of the night 490 losing tickets have been drawn.
They then open up the #10 envelope. That is the first winner.
They continue to do that until they get to the #1 envelope. That ticket is a $10,000 winner.
Hope this helps.

You don't have to be present to win.
Bring a raffle ticket to our tag challenge this weekend. Should I make the check out to Carmel High School? Bring the winning ticket if you can.

You beat me too it. I was getting ready to post.
All 4 Tickets that I sold were losers :( . One of them, the $10.00 ticket made it to the final group that were losers.
I think i'm going to move to Zion for a year. The past 3 years someone from Zion has won the $10,000.
You know, its all because they're in good with the man above....
