Title: Disc Golf Bag Straps
Post by: SERG on March 09, 2004, 09:13:23 AM
I'm looking to pick up some backpack straps for my bag. I've looked around and found some ranging from $20 to $45. Anyone have any recommendations or know where I can get a good deal?

Thanks.

Quad Shocks are the way to go. I had a Golf Pac strap that seemed to get tangled up a lot and did not last one year. Quad Shocks are more comfortable too.

For quad shocks, make sure you get the NEW model.  They hang better for a taller guy.. and they feel slightly wider in the shoulders.  Call Mike at Sunking, he has them.

Mike at Sunking has the new straps or check out the PhenixDiscSports site. As Shawn said if you go to Mike make sure they are the new straps he may have some of the old ones still. If you go through Kyle at Phenix he only has the new ones.

Shawn...you know I'm barely 5'9"

I checked out the Phenix site and it said that they're currently out of stock. I'll try Sun King.

Thanks for the input.

Just put in my order with Sun King. Spoke with Mike. Thanks to everyone for their help. It seemed that Quad Shocks were the unaminous straps. I forgot to ask, will they improve my game?

Haha Opps!

Looks like I need to update the store front to Phenix. He has them in stock in every color except black currently.

Yep 100'.  If you really believe that, I've got this great piece of property in the Mojave Desert with this wonderful remake of the Golden Gate Bridge.
