Not sure how to answer since I'm not aware of any ratings events in the area... but I know little.

I think that would be "I don't think there's one close enough for me to get to." I know there will be at least one in Michigan, but I don't think I'll make it to that one.
Yeah, thats what my vote was supposed to be... Accidentally clicked Null Vote. D'oh!
you forgot to add a button for, "I'm bored at work today so I made up this poll"...
and watch those comments about old men, you'll be one soon enough.
Trust me. :P
And, well, I like playing with women, but that's another topic
...although playing w/ women in *tournaments*, which I've done, is another matter altogether, but one I'd like to avoid in the future, for reasons which have nothing to do with playing with women necessarily, and, and...
fwiw, Brita Lindgren, who only *tied* me at Standing Rocks, thank you very much,
finished 2nd or 3rd at Am Worlds, 1st Am at Peoria and has now apparently turned Pro, so there...
and she's a very nice lady too.
I think it was at the Memorial a few weeks ago where she shot better than her 'partner', and I believe it would've been from the same tees...

I got to the end of my day and I was just waiting for people to call me back. And I know all of these people weren't going to call me back today anyway. If people are going to call me back, they call before 4pm in order to catch me or they call after 5pm thinking I won't be there (I know, I play that game all the time!).
I'm playing the No Foolin. I love the concept. I wish Des Reading and Ruth Steele lived around here and were playing the No Foolin' too! I like the whole Bobby Riggs/Billy Jean King aspect of R-tiers except I'm not giving them wider fairways! Unfortunately I have five too many ratings points to shoot with Jen, Jen and Sue. Oh, well.
The R-tier concept is really beneficial for pro women. Pro Women at local B and C tiers rarely have a foursome. A Bronze or White rated pro woman should have 20 or 30 similarly rated [but differently skilled] opponents to shoot against, resulting in a bigger payout if she can win.
Lower rated women hate the R-tier concept because they wind up playing with the juniors.
