Title: Sergeant Means Park-> Olympia Fields
Post by: CEValkyrie on March 28, 2004, 06:08:42 PM
I enjoyed playing this course. It is a very nice public park. It's in a pleasant neighborhood.

The course is very short but you have to make accurate shots to take 2's. The tees are rubber & some were not level. The course was very muddy with several holes by a drainage ditch.

This is a good course to play when it is not busy. There are many conflicts on this course with tee/basket/fairways conflicting. You better bring your helmet & pads when it's busy.

Here are some pics of the course. Most are the same holes that we played but the # is off from the current layout.

in the tournament the last 2 years the tee for #2 has been at the white bench or close to it but in the soccer field to the left.

I don't think I've ever been there when the park was dry except for drought-condition summers. Might just be my own bad luck tho, lol
