Title: Lost: Z Reaper & Proline Firebird
Post by: mirth on April 25, 2004, 11:46:47 AM
I doubt I'll see either again. The firebird was my first loss of the day, skipped off the cement lattice stuff on the ground & went in about 15'.

After that you'd think I learned my lesson... Nope. From tee 23, I let my beloved Tourist 'Superstar' Reaper go a little too early & a little too high. That one's out in the middle of the pond.

All for all, I was 4/6 when it came to water holes today. :(

Sounds like you had a pretty tough day Al. I don't suppose you won any $ to make up for the losses.

Nope. Finished DFL w/a +5. 1st was a -5.
I guess the silver lining is that there were only 3 teams....

I felt your pain each time, Mirth.  :(
I've been fortunate to only have one of my discs hit the pond. Even then, I was able to creep in about five feet and pick it out.

Yeah.... the firebird I miss but not as much as that Reaper. If only Tourist had more in stock. Hopefully he will for the Prairie.

Want mine.  It's the same weight and stamp, just a different color.  I'd be willing to trade cuz I don't use it much at all.

It's red.  I don't remember the weight right off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure it's close to yours.  I remember picking it up at the same time from Kurt because you told me about how great of a disc it was or something.  Not that that has anything to do with the weight of the disc.  HURRAY FOR SUDAFED AND DAYQUIL!!
