I picked up Discraft Buzzz yesterday at the Oly. I've thrown a couple and wanted to try it more. I've been without a real go to upshot disc for a while now. Here's the historical progression of my upshot discs since 1978: 133g Whammo Pro, Phantom Deuce, Cobra, Comet, Stratus, Wasp, Hawk, then back to Wasp again, then Wasp and Hawk situationally. I'm sure I'm forgetting something inbetween the Stratus and Wasp, but I can't recall what it is.
The Buzzz has a good line like the Hawk but with the predictability of the Wasp. The Hawk is always a little bit finicky with my throwing style. I was able to use the Buzzz today for upshots from 100 feet to 250 feet, into the wind and with the wind. I also used it for putting into the wind.
I think I'll let it into the bag and see if it earns a spot in the starting rotation.
