Title: Parkside Rounds
Post by: shawn on April 28, 2004, 02:29:35 PM
Litttle windy today, I'm heading out at 5:30 tonight (wed. 28th) to play longs if anyone want to play along.  Good practice for Praire Open.

Did you guys see that Barry is doing a workshop next Thursday at Parkside.  I'll post more later if Serg has not already.  Public is invited.

I'm thinking about battling the winds today. Sometime after 5:00. Anyone interested?

I'll be heading out there this weekend to get a few practice rounds in before IOS#1. Anyone planning on playing Parkside this weekend?

I'm going up on Thursday. My vacation starts then... going to SF on Saturday. (woohoo! Santa Cruz & Stafford Lake, although it still looks like it'll rain most of the time we're out there. And just when I thought I'd finally get to play Golden Gate Park, I see it's closed for expansion from 12 to 18 holes. Good for them, bad for me....)

Hopefully the baskets will be moved by then so you can the play the layout. I have off on Friday afternoon so I'll see if I can move them at that time.

Because we are doing work on the course I don't know if I'll be able to throw with you. We'll see how much gets done.

I'll be heading up that way every Friday until the tourny (not this Fri. if it rains like it's supposed to).  I have room for one in the car and live by Fairfield.  Let me know if interested.  It would be nice to play with someone who knows the course well.  I've only been up there once and would love a locals perspective.

what time would you be leaving?  I get home around 3:45 and me and my friend live by bevier so if you want to drive up and park at my house we could go the rest of the way so you dont have to use gas to get all the way up there and back.  We play there as often as we can get up there.  Just send me a pm or e-mail if you want to get something going.

Assuming it's not raining too badly, I will be up there to practice.  I need it.  I will be going up in the morning, taking a break for lunch, and playing probably til dark, so I'll see you there if you go.  I'll be the really tall guy with the orange revolution bag and wearing glasses.  And it's Tim, not Discmonkey.  :)

OK, I am heading up to parkside tomorrow.  Leaving round lake at around 9, picking up ninjaboy on the way, and heading up.  I have room for 3 more people if anyone is interested.  I will be leaving WI around 6ish so that should allow for a pretty good day of golf.  Weather is supposed to be nice.  Let me know if interested.  Also, anyone else gonna be up there and wanna play for tags, that would be cool.
