Hey, how are you Northerners holding up?
We're doing good up here. The backyard for my Dad's place had standing water in some areas, but nothing got into the basement. My place has been just about perfect. No water in the basement, and no flooding int he yard at all.
I'm watching the weather channel and saw a guy in a row boat floating down the street in Gurnee, IL. Anyone wanna rent a jetski to get to work tomorrow.
Yestarday was brutal getting from my house to Waukegan. Took me 2 hours to get to school since 132 & 120 were closed. Everything to Waukegan was closed except Washington St. Traffic was back up for miles.

I heard someone say that taking Wadsworth Road is a good alternative.
Man, I love having a 10 minute drive to work. Even if it is flooded, it'll only take 30 minutes to walk it.
My house is located uphill of the des plaines, so it shouldn't cause a porblem, but the des plaines is just short of the pin on hole 9 @ Adler. :o

Before they made the anti-flooding changes along there, hole 10 would flood every spring and about every other fall. Then for a couple of weeks after the water receded, the fairway on #10 would smell like crap!
took me almost an hour and a half to get from waukegan to Adler for leagues yesterday. luckily i left early so i could practice cuz i got their only about 10 minutes before they drew partners.
