Brett, Bruce, Dan, anyone else who's going:
I'd noticed the link on the tournament page to the "National Tour Player Handbook"
www.illinoisdiscgolf.com/peoriaopen[/URL ]
and sent an email to Wilbur Wallis.
He confirmed that even the *ams* are supposed to wear collared shirts!?
At least they're not requiring something really weird like knickers or something.
Thought you should know, if you didn't already.
Bruce, I need a backup 170 Z-Wasp (got way outbid for the Dr Dye), so if you have any could you set one aside and bring it to Peoria for me? (http://www.illinoisdiscgolf.com/peoriaopen)
Wonder what they'd do when people show up without.
What's a... "Collared shirt" ?
 :D  :D
It's not too late to have a collared shirt custom tie dyed. I have dark blue and fire red dyes mixed right now.

I've got a polo shirt with a big coffee stain on it. Guess I'll add a few more to it....

naw, not really; but I'm betting a fair # of ams aren't aware of it, even though the link to the rules *is* pretty prominent on the website.
Thanks for the heads up Damon. I didn't realize you had to wear a collared shirt.
I knew the Open players were supposed to but i didn't know that advanced is also supposed where collared shirts. I'm sure they won't be enforcing that at all for advanced but i might wear one anyways. Disc golfers aren't stereotypically the type of people that i imagine wearing alot of collared shirts  silly rule.

You're probably right, and I agree it's a silly rule. But if they're going to state that it *is* required, then they *should* enforce it, or not bring it up to begin with.
Not that there are any *other* PDGA rules that are handled that way... ;)
