It was a great, enjoyable weekend! Thanks again to Frank Grimes for his sponsorship in this tournament!
Thanks Scott and Mike and crew! Did everyone play the same layout the second round on Saturday?
Yes it was the same layout. Definitely not the same wind.
When official ratings come out, I'm not sure if the rounds from Saturday and Sunday will be combined.
Mike - I was actually asking if everyone on Saturday played the longs in the second round. Ratings across the board aren't typically that low in open, but it certainly felt like everyone was off a little bit (except for Juan!) so could make sense.
Now I understand your question. Sorry about answering a different one. As a rule for the IOS, all divisions play the same layout for a given round. It makes the flow easier and ensures that those in all divisions will have rated rounds.
I believe Juan has been putting in some extra time doing field work. It paid off.
