Title: Bevier
Post by: CEValkyrie on June 02, 2004, 05:31:14 PM
I have started to upload pictures of Bevier. Over the next month there will be pics of all 12 holes & alternates. I will be putting together a course description and hole description as well. Hopefully by July the Bevier page will be complete & ready to go. I want to make sure it's done well in advance of the DISContinuum Blast in September.

The Charlotte disc golf club just got a virtual tour of one of the hardest courses ever... pretty cool http://www.charlottedgc.com/renaissance.htm (http://www.charlottedgc.com/renaissance.htm)

Even though I've played Bevier plenty of times, I still get kind of lost finding the alternates. I'll have to study the virtual course  ;)

Have you played Renaissance, Shawn?

It is a workout to just walk the course so I only played it once a week..  My home course was Hornets Nest.  My best score at Renny was a 68.  I could talk for days about this course, it will teach you quickly about course management as just about every hole has string on the borders for OB.  Most of the time when we played Renny we would play skins so we would not humiliate ourselves that bad and it gave us a reason to try the hero shot for the cash...  I'll never forget the day I got a 3 on hole 10.  6 people and all the skins were pushed to that point...big payday.  Then I got a 4 on 13 for a few more..

sorry for the drift thread

good times

Pics look real nice. Everything is so nice and green...that tells when the last time I was able to get down there. The trees were just beginning to bud leaves.
