Title: Sweet wood discs with display
Post by: drdye on July 13, 2004, 09:46:20 PM
My girlfriend commissioned some wood discs with stands, by my brother who just happens to be a master craftsman with wood!!!  Here are some pics of the discs.  These are pics of the discs on their stand along with pics with them next to their stand.  One other pic is the profile of the disc, I am pretty sure he used a Roc to mold it after.  He didnt quite figure out how to cut the inside bottom of the disc out yet, but intends to.  The one disc that seems unfinshed is because he is going to engrave(somehow), basically a business card of mine, ya know DR DYE my website my name, and probably est. 2002, or something like that.

Wouldnt these make some badass trophies!!!!

I am talking him into doing some more.  He thinks he could make 20-30 of them in a day if he had to, and since he is a pilot he has alot of free time to do the stuff he wants.  I am giving him a couple Rocs to mold some more after.
