...y'know that paper-cut-like thing you get on your index finger from gripping the disc? I've been putting some Vitamin E stuff on it and then covering it up, which helps somewhat, but other than just taping it all the time, anyone else have any 'beauty secrets' on this they could share?
I've got a fair amount of callus there anyhow from drumming but I still gets those annoying cracks from discing, and one less area of pain would be helpful.
My friend Marge suggested Palmolive. I can't believe I was soaking in it!
me laugh so hard me pee mysef
but there ain't nuthin natural about brett's liquids........
jay, how bad is your curve in bowling?
whats your average?
More questions:
Didn't Woody Harrelson's character in Kingpin have a thing about hand lotion?
Do you dream about your hand getting knarled by the chains of a basket?
Why won't you leave message?
I have an all natural liquid that seems to take care of that problem.
Nu Skin or Liquid bandage. I carry a bottle in my car just for small flappers like you get. Sore hands or finger tips, rub on some hooving lotion. It will help your skin calluse overnight and thicken up your skin. I use it for long weekends climbing on sandstone, or if you practice putting for a long time your tips of your fingers hurt from pushing the disc off your fingers. Rub a little hooving lotion on them.
Liquid bandage is found almost everywhere.
Hooving lotion is found at Farm and Fleet or and horse supply.
Nu Skin is the bomb!!! Its gotten me through 17 years of bowling

Explains why you have no kids :D
When I was bowling full time I was good enough to go pro and almost did in college. I was good enough to qualify, but not good enough to make a living.
To answer your questions though I can throw straight as an arrow or curve from gutter to gutter.
My average was in the 215-240 range depending on what league you were talking about. There was a time when I bowled 5 nights out of the week.
Ofcourse this is all years ago, I haven't bowled(seriously) in the last 4 years. Bowling while extremly fun is one of the most expensive sports around. Like any sport pratice is extremely important and with games running to $3.00 it's insane. Also bowling is a very equipment oreintated sport.... and considering balls now run about $300 bucks a pop, and at the pro level most carry 3-5 with them(plus trying out new eq when its released) well you see where Im going with this...... Then ther's shoes, bags, and well its on and on.
I'm bitter can you tell :-) Damn you economy for taking my first love away from me!!!
