I haven't been there at all this year, and I'm going to be up in Sheboygan that weekend on wife-family business (which means I'll miss the last week of leagues, not to mention the Homie thing...). Thought I'd play Dretzka on Monday on my way back. Anyone up for a mid-morning round or two up there, let me know.

The weekend turned out to be rather a confidence-builder, unlike what Lemon Lake probably would have been. ;)
Drove up to Sheboygan on Saturday, and shot a best-ever -12 at Vollrath. Granted, it's an easy course, esp. when there's no wind, but it's always fun to play.
Sunday morning I walked into their $2 doubles league. My partner & I only managed a -13, which was nowhere near the -16 that won it. I imagine there are scores of -18 or better some days.
And if you really want your ego massaged, get up to Dretzka while they still have all the pins in the short position. (I think they had a novice tournament there this weekend.) I shot like crap all day today, but still managed -7 from the short tees and -4 from the longs. On the downside, somebody ripped off basket #18 Labor Day weekend and they're not going to replace it. I'm generally anti-death penalty, but...
QuoteIsnt there a practice basket right by 18??
You could always just play to that
right, but that's not the point.
