just looking to find out how one can become a pdga tournament official.

the short answer is order the $10 test & take it. The test comes with a rule book & the exam's open book....

the better answer is to read thru the rules a few times first then take the test. always carry your rule book on you.

If you sign up for your dues through the club, you can get it for free...  part of the affiliate program...right?

That's correct, Shawn. If you are currently a PDGA member and don't want to join Discontinuum (I don't know why you wouldn't want to but...) you can order the Official's test at The PDGA Store. (http://www.pdgastore.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi?CMD=009&DEPT=1060060386&BACK=A0011A1E01067409675E1)

im going to join the pdga this weekend.  with that order im also going to get the exam for the test.
