As we were driving into this park I started to go crazy. I couldn't believe how big & beautiful this park was. You have to drive quite a ways thru this winding road to get to the first tee. On the way in there is a river, ravine, woods, & some great elevation.

This park could be one of the best parks in IL for disc golf. I was disappointed with the layout. It seemed like after every good hole they threw in a hole to put it there. 6 holes are quality holes, 6 are average holes, & the final 6 are baskets in the ground.

If in the Rockford area i'd play this course again though. It's such an awesome park. They have a nice info board near hole 1 too.

It is a nice town & nice park. The course isn't the greatest. I could see a score of
-18 for doubles possibly lower since many holes are short & could be aced.

actually the town isn't THAT nice     the course however is worse.  there are about 5 or 6 really nice holes.  this is ruined by the fact that about 9 of the holes are incredibly stupid.  my favorite are the ones where there is a tee and then the basket is about 120-200 feet away with dense forest in ur way and no real fairway.  maybe u can get lucky and get thru!  maybe not!  whatever, its boring.
