calling the doctor: How well do the various Gateway plastics dye?
I still need to get the raven design done. I know you tried the chief for me "H" plastic, but have you tried "S" or "E" or "H/E" plastic yet?
I have some practice discs, you could do some tests on if you havent tried them yet.
How about John Lennon or even the pic of the Beatles from the "Rubber Soul" cover or "With the Beatles"/"Meet the Beatles". Jim Morrison or Jimi Hendrix would be cool too. Ooh, ooh, how about Jim Klem? :-)
I'd love a Ralph Wiggum dyed disc :-)
Definitely Lennon.
Wow! After that finishing bid, looks like I found out what people like dyed on discs!!!
Anyone got any good ideas as to who the next "portrait dye" should be?
Hummmmm...all good ideas. I am sure in time, I may get to do all of them.
Jim, I am listing Albert Einstein tonight, I will post the link to it as soon as it is listed.
I was thinking of doing either Jimi Hendrix, or John Lennon next. Not sure which one, what do you guys think?
Jay, I have dyed the H plastic, for sure. I know my wizard doesnt dye well. Not to sure about the rest. I can usually get a good idea whether or not I can dye it by looking at it and feeling the plastic. Maybe smelling, and tasting it too. Yeah, just give it a lick or two.
Next time I see you show me the plastic in question, and I will probably be able to tell you if is dyable.
How bout a looney toons Series.... Taz for the Driver, Bugs for the putter, Daffy for the approach.....
although with my style, they should all have pepe le PEU on them.
Amazing!
