Yes, the Libertyville crowd has always been indisreet, and they have extended themselves to Round Lake. Avoid Adler's Tuesday Best Shot.  The Libertyville cops hang out and nail assholes almost every week.  But I have a few ideas in case thier course gets yanked......

woo-hoo!  Glad to hear that someone gives a damn about Adler. I stopped trying to clean there when 2 sofas and 4 empty beer cases appeared next to the 2nd basket and the cops told me not to do anything ("might be used as evidence"). That's when police were busted folks every Tuesday for smoking and drinking.

I hope you can do some good there. If you are serious and if you need any help, let us know. We can schedule a cleanup day perhaps and get a dozen guys out there.

Peace.

With old #10 from the hill to the toppled sculpture? Ooooh, yeah, baby!

Do you think the volleyball courts will be in the way for old 2 and 3?

Who would be up for Best Shot at Adler this Tuesday?  I think it starts at 5:30pm.

Might be cool if 5-10 DISContinuum members suddenly converge on the course.....

I am also glad to hear that someone is working @ Adler. Keep up the good work! I can't believe a park district like Libertyville(loaded with $) allows a course to have retro baskets & garbage all over.

Glad to hear that someone is helping keep it clean..   Good work D man and friends.  But seriously what is up with the baskets painted and stuff..  All they need are some mardis gra beads..  I like the course, just wish I would have played it when it was a 18 hole course.

While Brett, Brandon, Maddisen and I were working at Fairfield today, I was telling Brett about the layout of Adler when it was 18 holes. I told him that we should go out there and play the old 18 as object golf since there is a tree fairly close to where all the old baskets were and there are still a few baskets in the old locations as well. THEN I had an epiphany! We play the old 18 hole course with a skill shot! (a skill shot is a portable basket in case someone who's reading this doesn't know)

So, anyone up for 18 holes of REAL retro golf at Adler?

It would be REALLY interesting if someone were playing volleyball!

But I was thinking we'd have to do this fairly early on a Saturday because some of the old holes severely conflict with the new holes. Like old #4 shooting backwards thru current #1!

Just registered to these forums. Hoping to get more involved in the local disc golf group.

Adler Park is my home course. There are a two tables with "Grafitte" and just because you disc there, doesn't mean you take part in that.

I have also begun to play in Adlers tournaments on Tuesday and there have been no problems reguarding the police..

I love this course, and my friends and I have been pushing to keep it clean.

The Sculpture isn't toppled anymore ;)

And thoes volleyball courts are such a waste of space, I hate them!! I bet they make for an interesting sandtrap though :)
