I'm putting together a sheet of rules that will be presented at the players meeting prior to round 1 on the lower day of play at all IOS events. Let me know if there is something that needs to be added. We are trying to educate players. To those of you who know the rules please help others during rounds.
Score Card
1st player listed on every hole takes card
Leave the registration cards
Equally share scorekeeping duties
Call out players name & read back score to player
Note warnings & penalties on score card
2 Minute Warning
Tee Off
Marking Lie
Stance
30 centimeters
W/In 10 meters demonstrate control
Out of bounds
Completely surrounded by OB area
(Above 2 Meters) unless otherwise stated by TD
Water (Completely surrounded)
1 Meter relief from OB
3 minutes to search for a lost disc
30 seconds to throw
That is a good list. I'd eliminate the word "Tree" and just go with Over Two Meters for that note heading.

Share duty of equally keeping score
I'm kind of a grammar nazi as it is, and I know what you mean by this, but it reads funny. Almost sounds like you're making sure everybody gets the same score.
..."All players on card share scoring duties equally".... ?
equally share duty of keeping score
It is just notes so that he'll remember to cover everything. The grammar is only going to get worse when he actually says it out loud!
My only point about "Tree" is that if the notes say, "Tree," then you might talk about trees, and you might leave someone with the impression that we are applying the 2-meter rule only to trees, and not to bushes, vines, pavillions, out houses, tents or whatever else might catch a disc.
I was under the impression he was going to hand something out. Not that anyone would read it... :P
"equally share scorekeeping duties"
Sharing anything else might come under rule 804.whatever it is....
like damon, the way brett said it leant me to think he was coming up with some kind of handout....
Fixed the problems. Thanks for the corrections. These will be a list that we go thru when we talk to the players. It will help guide us thru what we need to talk about.
Don't forget the list.
I'm still dithering on whether to play on Saturday. Last Sunday after playing 24 at Kensington my knees really hurt. But Wednesday playing 12 at Hawthorne I was fine and it has elevation change on every hole.
Kenosha is pretty flat, right?
It would be good to play. Then anyone would feel like they could play on Saturday and not come in last.
I have already printed it & have it with my items to bring.
