so,all this house painting I'm doing with a roller on a stick has given me blisters on my thumb and forefinger, and gave me deja vu all over again of disc golf...
I never leave a course without a huge broken blister on mid joint : )--~ of my middle finger, where my disc rubs that finger all day...
am I doing something wrong? I have tape and bandaids to wrap myself to not have that happen, but surely there has to be a way so that that doesn't happen, but apparently I'm doing something wrong...I am right handed, and throw like a backhand tennis shot....
Do you have your index finger on the edge of the rim? You will get abrasion and possibly blisters on your release points. If you have a release point on your middle finger, chances are ou don't have your index finger under the flight plate inside the rim, but on the leading edge of the rim.
Get all four fingers under the rim and gripping the disc. Then your release point will be on the tip of your index finger, which will callous rather than blister.
