Any idea when the pre-reg will be updated to reflect paypal sign-ups? Someone asked me today when their name will go up.

What was that players name? All that have come in have been added to the list. There are 10 names on there currently. Mirth, can you add in big print "Refresh This Page to see updated list"?http://discontinuum.org/Events/IOS2005/IOS1-prereg.html (http://discontinuum.org/Events/IOS2005/IOS1-prereg.html)
That musta been the guy who paypal'ed right before I swapped servers. I'll take care of that now.

If you want to list some rec women for the sake of encouraging rec women to show up, list
Jenny Fox
Sarah Scrivner
Emily Sacrenty
They won't be pre-paying but they are all reserving seats in my van so I think they are coming.

Sweet! Thanks Serg. Is Carla playing?
Yes, Carla and I both are playing.
I think I'll just sign her up for Rec Women.
(Although, would she get more points for playing Intermediate? I don't think she is ready for Advanced so I don't want her to play there.)
edited for question
Those pdga numbers and Becky have been added to the list.
higher points factor for Advanced, but she might get more for playing intermediate if she beats alot more people than she would have in advanced. if she beats nobody in advanced, but would have beat 3 girls in intermediate, then she would be better off playing intermediate points-wise. either way, points don't really matter for women as they can get into any invitation only event if they just ask.

Points don't matter for amateur women unless they are going to tour and try to win an obelisk or touring pin. If she gets one point she'll get invited to Tulsa Worlds in '06. If she wants to play Women's Nationals in Peoria, she doesn't need any points for that.
Thanks for the responses.

Did you pay the extra $5 for not being a PDGA member? It may just be a oversight, wait that would go with your title... :P
I no longer have the title. I resigned six weeks ago.
I'll be an active PDGA member by tournament time.

My boss always says that you shouldn't make your goals so easy that you always attain them. 50 was a good goal. 47 is a good reality!
We'll be saying, "IT'S A B-TIER!" before we even tee off. 48 ams are required for the am-only B-tier.
