Title: San Marino Rocs
Post by: Younk on June 03, 2005, 06:24:50 AM
$45 a piece   :o

Shawn mentioned these discs in the "Skillshot for sale" thread so I Googled them to see what they were worth.  Now I'm intrigued....

It's just supply and demand. They aren't made any more so there is a finite amount of them available. The demand has remained steady, however, thereby increasing the relative value.

Oh ok.  I thought it was either that (limited qty.) or the plastic and/or mold was special that made the disc fly differently.

It is just a Roc fetish of mine...  The plastic is super grippy, hard to the touch, very collectable, and they fly great.  They will never lose value... unless they are dry rotted.

Well, that would be the demand remaining steady. Some people really like them, but if suddenly there were none left, I don't think Shawn's game would suffer any. He would just miss them.
