I could definately use some help with my form and technique but I don't play with anyone that has better form than I do (that's not bragging by any means). Don't get me wrong, I can still get S-curve and throw a pretty accurate anhyzer but consistency is a big problem for me. I am getting better just by playing more this year than I have in the past 3 combined but I was thinking a getting Scott Stokely's video if it is worth it.
Has anyone seen it?

I haven't actually watched them but I have heard that the Stokely videos are good. Having met him, I couldn't think that Scott would put out crap.
My friend Tracy really sucked at this game when I first met him two years ago. We only see each other occasionally. Between when I saw him in February of 2004 and in October of 2004 he got a LOT better. I said, "I thought you said the restaurant was keeping you too busy to play more than once a week." And he said, "I got these videos by some guy named Scott Stokely, and I really have not been practicing that much but I watch them a lot..."
I'm serious. If you are a visual learner, someone who learns by seeing stuff demonstrated, these videos are the best.
Steve has the first video from Stokely. It's OK. I thought he tried to cover too many things at one time and as a result didn't spend enough time on key things.
I won video #2 in the Wham Bam raffle yesterday, so I'll let you know how that one is once I watch it. (Covers sidearm throwing, trick shots, etc)
I purchased both of Scott's videos, mainly to develop a backhand. Previously, I only threw forehand, and my backhand maxed out at about 100ft. Since watching his videos, my backhand maxes out at around 375ft. Scott does a great job of explaining in detail what is necessary to strengthen many aspects of the game. I highly recommend these videos. Plus, they are the only istructional videos out there. John Hauke has one, but is was pretty vague.
Thanks for the feedback! FYI: I sent Scott an email through his site and I asked him when was DVD going to be available and he said very soon. Scott advised that he is almost out of VHS and will no longer make them in that format.

I've got the second one too. So, between Kyle and I, we will lend you a copy. I'm at Crystal Lake every weekend up until IOS#3. So, if you come out that way to practice, let me know and I will bring the copy with me.
Scott Stokely does a nice job of teaching sidearm. I've been throwing sidearm for ten years now. You've seen me thow it in at least one round of 18. So, if you want some pointers, let me know. We can play a round at Lippold.

Practicing backhand, but my standard deviation is all whacky now! IOS#1 was a nightmare! IOS#2 not so bad. You just need to catch me on my bad rounds which are many and quite a few in between. :lol:
