Title: Lost at Crystal Lake
Post by: drdye on June 11, 2005, 05:06:38 PM
I think I just left it on hole #1, went back for it when I noticed I was missing it(around hole #4-#5) asked every group on the way back to hole #1....Nobody found it...or didnt tell me they found it.  Anyway, love the disc would love to get it back.

Damn Crystal Lake!  There might be some kind of curse there  ;)

Two weeks ago I decided to check out this course to get ready for IOS #3.  I don't know what was going on but I left 3 discs out on this course.  It was stupidity on my part but I kept leaving discs down where they landed after I threw a different disc.  I had to keep going back to the previous hole because I realized I didn't have a disc.     I found them all and they were right where they landed but there was one that I couldn't find so I had to walk back five or six holes asking all the groups behind us if they found my disc.  Eventually one guy confessed that he had picked it up and told me it was my lucky day  <_<  .  I have NEVER done that before and haven't done it since so to all of you playing at IOS #3 don't let the curse get to you too

So, I got a funny message on my answering machine tonight, I assume about this disc(I think its the only one I have lost in a while).  All it said was "hello Dr Dye, I found  your frisbee" and said he would be talking to me soon?  Private name and # came up on the caller ID.  Anyone know anything I would apprecitate the help.  Oh, he was talking in a funny voice I could tell he wasnt talking normal.  Weird.
