Did anyone find my putting ability laying around the course somewhere? I seem to have lost all of it.

Doug

From what I heard you should be posting regarding what was won, rather than lost, at Rockford.  Nice shooting!  You looked like crap warming up and I shot well at that time.  I think there is some mathmatical formula explaining how these things got reversed.

I believe it's called "The Practice-Play Inverse of Your Buddy Function", but don't quote me.

Thanks Dave.

We were finishing packing in the dark Saturday night. I tripped over something. It could have been your putting game but it turned out to be one of Brett's bungee cords. Check the lint trap in the dryer. Sometimes when I lose something it turns up there. Where ever it is, it will wind up being in the last place that you look!

Last night I saw a few seconds of Jeff Foxworthy on  Comedy Central.  He was mentioning that things are always in the last place you looked.  You don't keep looking after having found it.  In any case, I have a friend who always says its never lost until you really need it.  Drive better and you won't need the putter as much.  As for me, I misplaced my entire game, but I'm still looking.  I'll check the lint trap when I get home.  I may not find my game but suspect I will be able to rescue a few lost socks.

It probably met up with mine and went over to the picnic/party that was going on that day. I don't want it anyway. He's never there when I need him.

Checked the dryer and lint trap. Nothing there but some airplane belonging to someone named Earhart.

As for Driving better, that's just it, I have been. A couple of months ago I had a week where I suddenly went from throwing 290-300 to consistently hitting around 350. It took a couple of months to adjust to that and get some accuracy back, but the drives are good for me now. Heck I was pin high after two throws on that 685 temp hole at Rockford and only 20-25 feet left of the basket.
Missed every duece putt 2nd round too and I had 4 or 5 drives within 20 feet or so. 20 feet has never been a problem for me before.

Time to start practicing again.

i think some of the best advice i heard on PDGA radio was to practice really short putts before the tournament that you know you will make every time.  putting is all about confidence.
