Hello, i live on the south side of chicago and will traveling north to play either shady oaks or madison meadows later in week. i was wondering if anyone knew of a place where they sell a wide range of putters. i recently lost my innova putter in lake michigan. it was the basic innova putter. i'm looking to get something like the birdie or arrow. any help will be appreciated, thanks for your time. Tim.

There's a White Hen in Lombard at Main & Madison, about 6 blocks east of Madison Meadows. Their prices aren't great but you'll find several different putters there.
Well if you plan on going to Shady Oaks then King of Darts has a nice selection of discs.
King of Darts
684 Barrington Road, 4-B Plaza
Streamwood, Illinois 60107

There is a speedway gas station about 2 miles north of King of Darts on Barrington Road that has a "gotta go gotta throw" display rack and there are a lot of discs there as well. I don't know if they have a lot of putters. I know they had APX swirls, Magnets, Challengers, and Aviars last time I was in there but that was around a month ago. I would call King of Darts first the owner is very nice and helpful (not too knowledgeable about disc golf though)
Thanks for the info, hopefully i can get to one of these places. Any additional info for myself and people living in the south suburbs. Tim.
I've seen Birdies at many of the chain sporting goods stored (Dick's, Sportmart, etc). There is a Dick's on Butterfield, about 2 miles due south of Madison Meadows. When Galyan's owned it, they stocked a ton of discs. But Dick's trimmed the display down to about a third of what it was.
