My first CFR Starfire was last year's Homies. It was a 167 and it flew nice for me at the time because I wasn't as much of a power thrower as I am now. I would get a CFR Starfire if I could because I liked my old one and for $15, it's a steal!

Did you mean to say $15 or $25?  Innova requires that they be sold for $25 by people participating in the CFR program.

$15.00. They suggest $15.99 on their papers.

Give me a link to that price.  All I can find on their website is the $25 retail price.

QuoteOur Philosophy
Since INNOVA can not provide cash sponsorship for every tournament or a cash donation for every charity event or fundraiser, we created the Candy Fund Raiser Program (CFR). We sacrifice our potential profit on special limited edition discs to make them available at an extra special price. These CFR discs are models that are not available for sale in our regular product line, or they are models available only in limited runs of special Candy/Champion plastics which further enhance the value. Obtaining lots of mini-sponsors has proven to be much easier than obtaining a large one. It is easier to sell 50 CFR discs at $25 each than to obtain one $500 cash sponsor, and you'll raise nearly twice as much money.

I don't have a link, I have a mailed document.

Selling Parameters
The suggested retail price per CFR hot stamp disc is $15.99
The acceptable price range is $15.99 to $25.00
We recommend increasing the suggested retail price by $2.00 per disc for glow plastic.

Would anyone turn the club in for selling CFR discs .99 cents under the suggested price?

They recently dropped the pricing on all CFR discs to 15.99, I thought.  I would definitely buy one, as my old glow CFR Starfire is currently residing at the bottom of Lemon Lake.

It's a "suggested" price, not a mandatory price.

You've already bought the disc from Innova so they have their money.

I don't throw the CFR Starfire so sorry, I wouldn't buy one (unless I was buying it to support the club, then I would buy one so disregard this posting).

The CFR has never been a suggested price before.  If you were getting CFR direct from Innova they would be right up front in telling you that they did not want you price cutting on CFR.  If you know anything about the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, it is clear they do not.   ;)

On everything else it is a suggested retail price.  I know because I've talked to them about the CFR deal and about how S their MSRP is on everything.  On everything but CFR Harold will tell you that he wants you to make a profit [so you'll buy more and pay your bills!] and he thinks their MSRP is a fair price and he knows that maybe on some items you need to charge more or less depending on your market, which is what his lawyer would tell him to say, if his lawyer knew anything about the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.

The club is seeing if there is interest in CFR discs. If so, this could be a way to raise sponsorship $ so the club could run a Pro B-Tier & add to the Am prize pool as well.
