Thank you. I'll get them from you sometime this week. I'm trying to put inventory together and get sponsors listed. The people who update the website on campus are a little slow so I need to try and bust some heads to get names/websites up there.

Brett: Thanks alot for the contact at Marshall Street. Received a package from them the other day. Very nice and generous people out there.

I'm supposed to be dying some trophy discs for Discontinuum to donate to the tournament.  I'm doing lettering tonight and last night.  Is it o.k if the top amateur division says "Advanced"?  [Because those are done that way and look fine.]  Do you want the other amateur division to say, "Students"?  Were the trophies supposed to be three for each division but only two for women?

If it's already listed as Advanced then that's fine. It's really an "amatuer" division that would include Intermediate and Rec. players. The Advanced players are playing in the Pro division.

If you list the other as Student Division (omit the last "s")

And yes, only two for Women. I have a feeling we'll only have a handful of women at the most.

Thanks very much for contribution. Myself and the UW-Parkside Disc Golf Club really appreciate DISContinuum's (and Bruce's) generosity.

Did I hear correctly: Pat might be in town for this?

Maybe I can return a disc to him that I've had for good long time.

I was really, really pleased that when inspiration finally showed up, I was working on the Pro 1st trophy.  That almost never happens because I work so haphazardly.  I love this one:

The other one I wanted to post Kelsey says looks just like when the propane truck exploded.  To which I could only say, "Sure, rub it in.  I'm the only one who was not there when the propane truck exploded and you have to remind me once a month."  There will never be another propane truck explosion.  Missing the propane truck explosion is like my biggest regret in life.

Anyway, it did not scan well.  I'll try again...

No luck.  Anyway, if you too missed the one propane truck explosion in your state last summer, you are going to want to win in the Student Division.

Glad you like them.  They will never look better than they look right now, since they are X-plastic.  If you win one, put it in the freezer and the dye won't bleed as fast!    Or, at least be sure to take a good digital picture of it.

Always a fun tourney ;)

I played pro and finished with a 110 for the day, only 6 strokes away from 1st...where there was a tie at 104 between Sergio and Terry Miller.  I didnt stick around to see how that played out, but way to go Serg for tyeing with a sponsered Pro!!!

Shawn...when I got home to change I sat down for a min to wait for Trisha to get home from her buddies house, cause she was going to come with me over to Craigs....and I passed out on the couch and didnt wake up until 3am    Trish said she tried repetedly to wake me with to no avail    I am sure we missed out on a great bonfire, next time!!!

Unfortunately there was miscommunication at the end of the day and scorecards and scores were tossed out during clean-up. Full results can't be listed  :(
Here is what I remember (if I'm wrong, I apologize):

Pro:
1. Terry Miller (104) (won on fourth playoff hole)
1. Sergio Correa (104)
3. Fred Vroman (106)

Amatuer:
1. Joe Weitzel (won in playoff)
1. Chris Jordan
3. Zach Newhouse

Student:
1. Keith Curran (108)
2. Matt Koch (111) (won on second playoff hole)
2. Jason (111) (from UW-Stout)

Women:
1. Jessie (122) (from UW-Stout)
2. Holly Estock (123)
3. Katrina Sue Kozar (125)

There were nearly 80 players who played. We had 11 women play (compared to 2 last year).

Despite the crazy weather the rain only appeared for about 5 minutes during the night round. We did have downpour during the break but stopped minutes before the second round began.

Thanks again to all of our generous sponsors and participants. The club raised just over $1000. There are plans to hold a Spring event. Special thanks to DISContinuum for sponsoring the trophies. Also, thanks to the UW-Stout Disc Golf Club for travelling down to Kenosha with a group of players. I believe they brought nearly 20 people.

Here's a list of the rest of the contributors:
