This is by far the best disc golf facility I have played. There are currently 5 coruses in the ground. Each course is unique & the views are absolutely spectacular. There is a corse for everyone at this faciltiy. You will need about every shot imaginable to play well on these courses.

I got to play this gem of a facility in June of last year & only Blueberry Hill had the tees poured and fairways completed. I still played Granite Hill also while I was there though. I loved the hole where you shoot from an elevated tee and the pin was around the pond. Can't wait to play it first week on June this year as I have family in Hayward approx. 1 hour away. If you travel that way Copper Falls State Park is also a great place to visit if you MUST do something besides Disc Golf.

The hole that I recall from an elevated tee that shot near a pond (water reservoir) on Granite Ridge was hole 5 I believe. It played about 500-550' or so. It was the hole John Houck spotted at Mid Nationals. You deuced that hole? If so that would be amazing. That was a challenging 3 with the pin so close to OB and the green was on a steep slope . Are we taliking about the same hole?
no i was thinking of another hole.
however i did see people try to cut across the pond (makes it alot shorter, but was very risky) and 1 guy got reasonably close to the hole u are talking about, which is actually hole 7. i remember its 7 cuz it comes right after hole 6 (obviously ;D), which was that ballbuster hole that snaked down the hill, thru the trees, towards the pond. a dude DID actually deuce hole 6!! i was extremely happy to walk away with a 3 and a 4 on hole 6.
Granite Ridge was my favorite of the 3 courses we played. I loved the variety of tough deuces and several very difficult 3's.
Yeah that was Zac Cobus who deuced 6. He was in the group behind me.
On 7 I wasn't about to flirt with the water I kept it wide off the tee, played my up, took a 3 and moved on.
My favorite was Highbridge Gold, but GR and Bluberry hill were tied for close seconds. I only wish there were a few roller holes as that is one of my strong suits. With the high grass and rough, rollers were not a good choice except on one or two holes out of 54.
Dan, you playin MidNats this year?
i am not planning on going up there this year, althought its alot of fun and i highly recommend it.
I'm already playing bowling green, and i am planning to hit Des Moines and possibly MIchiana, which are both within a few weeks or so of Highbridge. thats too many back to back big trips if i play Highbridge.

Discover Wisconsin just did a show featuring disc golf and this course in particular. I caught it on Comcast SportsNet this morning but their website, discoverwisconsin.com, has the introduction video clip and some other links. Nice to see another instance of disc golf on TV.
