Thanks,

The new site looks alot cleaner then when we first put it together.

I just sent out 40 letters to local businesses for sposnosrships, and sent out another email to local Disc Golfers looking for donations for merchandise for the Raffle to Raise funds for the teepads.

I hope that this event goes very well so we can pull a great amount of people to this course.

We just went through the raffle prizes and have 5 2005 Marshall Street DVD's, 35 discs, a Microputt, and a Ching Basket, 2-$20 Giftcards from Lam's Chinese Restaurant and a $25 Giftcard for Dunham's.  There are some other items that will be there the day of as people bring some donations with them.

We are also running the CTP Contest as well - and for that we have a Innova Travelcatcher, a mini Discatcher and $40 worth of plastic.

If you are coming up and would like to donate something - we would be very appreciative and it would really help in our quest to get permanent TeePads.

Thanks

BTW - Chainmeister sorry for putting you on the spot for the Carpool  ;D:o

Funny how that worked out too...

I had been on the Schedule for the PDGA since early Jan and then due to a scheduling conflict Wakanda/Tower Ridge get to reschedule because they are an established WI Tour Event.

Dan - are you goin to Tower Ridge?

This tourney is still happening right?  I would rather travel to this instead of Tower because of gas prices.

$15 for Rec. Players and they recieve a players package...that's a pretty good deal.

Carla is worried there won't be an Advanced Women's divison so I think she was going to plan on playing in Rec. Men. Will be ok if she registered the day of the tourny? I think there a few guys from Kenosha/Racine planning on playing as well. I'll find out and let you know. I won't be able to play but if they come up there I'll come too, if you need any help with anything I'll be glad to help out.

Ok,

Yes the event is still going on - we gotta pay for all this plastic somehow :)

Yohann is not playing and will be spotting on the Island hole as well (50Ft Circle around Hole 3's basket, miss the Island?  Take your Penalty and RE-TEE!!  Only applies PRO, ADV and INT).  Carla can register the day of if she wants - Sonja Bolchen may be reigstering as well - I am sure if there are 3 Advanced women available we can have a Division - Marie Schwinn is registered as well.

We are getting more and more registration in daily.

Lot's of Raffle Prizes (estimated at $1000 Retail) - CTP for Travel Catcher, Mini DisCatcher and $40 in Plastic.

Just so everyone knows we have had to cut down to 20 holes instead of 21 as the county will not allow for 21 holes do to flight path risks.

If anyone has any questions - please contact me via PM, AOL (AmDiscGolfer) or email jmitchell@ozdgc.com

- You can even call my cell 414-651-2739

Congrats on the good turnout. I heard good things about the day, wish I could have been there.

Advanced winner would have won Open. Recreational winner would have won Intermediate. Come on Kenny, you've been playing pretty well.

The minute the round ended Kenny shook our hands and said, farewell, "I'm moving up to intermediate."  He got his win. He had his disc golf bar-mitzvah.  :icon_king:

You may have noticed that both Kenny and Nick have PDGA #'s.
