What hole did you lose it on? It's probably gone by now, but you never know... I'll keep an extra eye out for that one the next time we go out. With all this rain maybe it will be washed to a new location that will be easier to find ;)

thanks, but nah. It was #6 (I think...the long left-to-right one.) I swore I saw it land the day I lost it and looked a week or so later after a thaw and it wasn't there.
yeah, people that live around there might find those pretty easily since it's right next to a line of houses. I love that hole (since I'm a leftie :) ) I don't get to play that one too often though because I go with coworkers at lunch time (15-20 minute drive each way), and so we do an abbreviated 11-hole version of the course from 1-4, and 13-19. We found a busted up Pegasus on 13 a couple weeks ago, but left the disc there since I doube anyone is going to miss a Pegasus with a huge chunk missing from it.
This is hilarious. My phone number is pretty clearly visible on that disc. I sent the guy an email. My favorite part is the guy's two faggy dogs posing with my disc in the first picture. I'll bet this guy is a 35 year old virgin and lives with his mom.

I have returned several lost discs, and had several returned to me (and there is almost always a reward). I see that your question ie why didn't he call you, was posted on ebay. This should alert most bidders to the kind of scumbag they have for a seller. If you don't want to ruin your ebay rep by making bogus bids why don't you moniter the auction...contact each new high bidder and send them selections from this thread...ask them to withdraw their bid...cc the seller on the communication...continue the hassle...the disc will have outlived its value in the grief you can give this guy. Also, now that you know he walks his dog at MM every day...chose your actions appropriately and with common sense. Don't be stupider than he was. Maybe wait for a nice day to put water balloons in your bag.

No responses from bidders. Doubt they really care. I wouldnt. I think I might take this guy up on his offer and meet him, Bob, Richard, Maurice, Kimberly, ChinChin and Macy, Sunday morning. I didnt really think about it, but I lost the disc sunday afternoon at like 5... The guy says he found it 2 weeks ago on sunday morning. He found it monday morning for sure, and had it posted on ebay within like 4 hours. What a douche. I'd just like to see his reaction if I actually showed up.
You know, both of those questions and responses that were emailed to him were posted up on the auction too lol. Very entertaining. The 3 discs sold for $15 or $16. Hope Denny's has some specials going on if he and his friend were going to go buy lunch using the profits from the sale heh.

Trust me, there were plenty of emails that didnt make it onto the auction page. The second one posted was from someone in my office who saw me looking at it during work. Apparently the owner of the other "autographed" disc was emailing him too.

grumble grumble hole 19. I still can't get under a 6 on that thing. Only once have I had a decent par shot on that hole, but the same wind that helped me have an awesome drive helped me have my disc absolutely sail completely above and beyond the basket. It was maybe a 10-15' putt and it missed by a ton. Terrible.
My group has lost a Cheetah, a Leopard, and an Ace to that pond. Leopard and Ace were due to wind, and I think the Cheetah just faded right into the pond off hole 3 from a LHBH throw.
I wonder how deep that pond is. There's probably a LOT of discs down there.

Ok, the first email was posted onto the eBay auction on March 9th. That means the seller replied on the 9th. That email was from the owner (who we all know is Mike). The first bid came in on the 10th. lol. The other funny thing is that he said he wore his reading glasses and couldn't see the number on the monitor (now keep in mind that I was able to read the name and most of the number on the disc which is why I contacted Mike about finding the disc on ebay in the first place), but my thought is, "ok mr. seller, what's preventing you from using your reading glasses and looking at the bottom of the ACTUAL DISC instead of looking at the monitor?" hahaha.

Anyone know who Josh Knight (#27353) is? That looks like he is the owner of the Champ Orc that was signed by a bunch of the different players (his pdga # is on the inside rim... see the pictures) and that's his signature on the top of the disc right in the sweet spot. Wonder if he would like to know about his disc going to a new home...

That was pretty much the gist of my last email to him, albeit in a slightly more insulting and demeaning tone. The guy in my office (who posted the second question) has a set of emails going back and forth, too. Apparently the last one he sent, he said something along the lines of "If you lost Chin-chin at the park, you would probably want someone to call you instead of hawking him on ebay right away." Hilarious. I guess he got a long angry email back from the guy telling him to be careful threatening people like that. ;D
dude, I am trying soooo incredibly hard to not bust out laughing like crazy here at work lololol. Just a note for the ebay moron. it is not against policy to end an aution early. You can at any time end it with the excuse that the item is no longer for sale. he would have to pay the ebay listing fees though. What an idiot.
It's not against eBay rules to end an auction early. In fact, when you end an auction early they give you several options, one of which states "Item is no longer for sale." That's the option he should have chosen.
Okay, I put a pink teebird into the pond again today. Not that I'm expecting to ever get it back again, but if it shows up on ebay I might kill somebody.

I didn't realize that I lost my Discraft Wildcat (although I hadn't seen it recently when I was digging through my discs in my trunk) until I received a phone call from a guy saying he found it. Not only that, he found it AT Madison Meadows. PLUS, it wasn't a pond shot disc, so someone found it before Macy and Chin-Chin lol. Although your green disc was a pond shot disc as well. Did you lose it on 3 or 19 (or I guess 13 could be a possibility as well)? I have a device that can help me fish for some discs, but it's really on effective when you can see this disc. You can't really see too much in that pond... I lost a blue star beast right off the edge on 3 (bounced of a branch and rocketed into the pond, gah) and couldn't see it.
I hope that guy can make it out to the course soon so that I can get my disc back, I've only thrown the dumb thing maybe 5 times.

Maybe I should just invest in some water shoes or waders & get discs out of there myself sometime. Wouldn't be a bad thing to do on a summer afternoon, and un-named plastic is fair game. If I get bored enough after best shot tomorrow I just might. :icon_idea: Macy and Chin-Chin don't deserve the monopoly.

I was out there one day.. probably 2 months ago now, and there were 3 guys pond-side (I know it was shortly after IOS #2, so it wasn't quite 2 months ago). 2 of the guys were in the water wading around, and the 3rd was creek-side protecting their booty. They left with 50+ discs. When I confronted them asking if they were going to call the proper owners the response was "more than likely" so translation "no."
So that said, if you ever see a blue star beast with red stamp, red champ beast with silver stamp, yellow champ valk (beat), dyed pro wraith (mostly black), dyed elite-x stratus, Star Firebird (I think it's blue), I think a red pro valk, and who know what else... that's all stuff that the pond has eaten that was either mine, borrowed from me, or owned by someone in my group (which would only be 2 of the aforementioned), please let me know. I'd love to get any of those back. The majority of them had a name on it (the star firebird did not... it landed somewhere near 14's tee... that side of the pond).
That pond gets hungry :)

As long as your are going fishing...I threw a X Crush just shy of the far bank going to #3 from the long tee at the tournament. I won't really be crushed if you don't find it. When I saw the hole, I picked up the disc as the cheap add-on to the throw discraft deal specifically for that shot. Be careful. Of course, the disc is likely already on e-bay. :-[
lol i was there yesterday afternoon and saw 2 people throw shots into the willowtree side of the pond. and the basket on 13 is missing

I still wonder if they somehow messed up the sleeve that the basket goes into when the park district pulled out the basket. They were doing cleanup after Lombard Fest, and I watched the guy trying to pull up 13's basket. That was last known siting of it (as far as I know lol). They had about 4 other baskets in the back of their truck. Obviously the others have been returned to their spot, but maybe he broke something when he went to pull out that basket? Only time will tell I guess...
Well, became the "Disc Hunter" yesterday :duckie: and did a bit of pond walking. Yielded 2 Champ Beasts, 1 Champ Monster, 1 DX Beast, 1 DX Banshee, and 1 Polaris LS. The Banshee & Polaris really aren't in throwing condition anymore, but the others are just fine. Only 1 had a phone number, which was disconnected, so they're for sale $5. I'm here in Downers Grave, but I'll bring 'em to Rockford this weekend (I'll be helping Sat. & playing Sun.) if anyone wants one.
I won't make it to the tourney, but I will take the two Champ Beasts and the one Champ Monster off your hands. $15 total for all three?

Threw my longest drive ever on hole 19 today.... Right into the pond. Orange Star Wraith... I went in after it and pulled out a different Star Wraith w/ no name, and a blue Champ Beast with someones initials on it. I dont even remember what the initials were.
