I'm not above waking up early, but check in for Pre-Reg by 8 AM seems EEAARLY. Maybe just 'cause I've gotten used to the IOS schedule...

Attached is a flyer for the Prairie Open. Please print and post at local courses. Any questions you can contact myself or the tournament director, Dennis Miller at millerd@uwp.edu.

New this year will be a Mini-Golf tournament held during lunch and before awards. Details are still being finalized. We set-up the course yesterday. The mini baskets are the DGA mini baskets. We also have custom stamped minis from Little Flyer. They are the combo minis.

All Am players will receive a Discraft SuperColor disc designed by Kyle.

Serg

Looking forward to it.  Prereged the other day. I am an earlybird by nature but Whoa! 8am player's meeting is early.  See you bright and early on Sunday. I won't get there until the tournament.  Where are the baskets and which tees will the Rec division be using?

I'm not completely sure about basket placement just yet. We should have that covered in our next meeting. I'll post when we have it.

Photocopy and a couple other layers over Serg's original photo.
Not the end result I wanted, but I had an extremely small amount of time available to do it in, so it is what it is.
I do like that it mostly retains Serg's original photo though.

The scores say he was 21st of 31 in Open.  Not DFL at all.  He also shot the best score of anyone who played on the lower day.

Scores don't speak.  You can interpret them any way you want to. Looks to me like he finished dfl in the under 19 division. Then again, he did shoot the best score of the day.

All I know is that when he went up to pick up his trophy for winning/DFL he heard an affectionate buzz in the audience callling out to the junior bagger. I guess this is unfair.  You are  not really a bagger if you don't beat up on anybody else.  Since there was nobody else in his division he was beating  on...oh never  mind, nice shooting Adrian! ;D

Whenever one of my girls would come in second or third in a two or three player division, I'd tell her, "Well, you beat all the girls who play but did not show up."   ;)

besides all that, there wasn't any other division that day that he was eligible for anyhow.

It was supposed to be a "funny" it took first and DFL all in the same divison.
Yes, he did shoot the best score of the day...and from what I remember he was trying new stuff and not playing his best golf. He was doing what he should be doing, having fun and enjoying the beautiful day.

He paid $20 to play. Got paid out $25 + a CTP disc + Gold Aviar. Won a Discatcher mini in the Mini Golf tournament. Won a DGA M14 in the CTP contest. I'd say it was a pretty good day.

Thanks to all the DISContinuum members who came to play.
