50 to 1 Todd wins
i will take that bet Neal. ur giving me 50 to 1 right? I will put down 25 bucks on Todd.
So if todd wins you get 50 cents
I have a question. About how long does it take to get to there from, lets say, Joliet?

It is about an hour and a half. Once you get off the tollway up here it is about 8 minutes to get to the course.

u said, 50 to 1, Todd Wins. if a horse is 50 to 1 and u bet 1 dollar on him and he wins, u get 50 dollars.
hence, if todd wins u will owe me 25 times 50, whatever that equals :)

Thats going to make it hard for me, then. I get out of school at 3:10. If it takes about an hour and a half, that means I would get there at 4:40. This is basic math. I haven't added rush hour and other lights. With this being said, I am unsure if I can make it..... :-[
I have 3 Z flashes that will be awarded to the top 3 finishers.
There will also be 2 CTP's for a DX Roc & DGA Sqaull.
DISContinuum is also going to be donating a few items.
No Dan, Todd is not 1 to 50, he is 50 to 1 to win so if you bet 50 dollars and you win you get 1.

50 to 1. Dan bets $50 and he collects $2,500. 1 to 50 is bet $50.00 and collect one dollar.
yep. 50 to 1 = 50 for every 1 paid. 1 to 50 (aka, idiot bet) would be where you get 1 in return for every 50 put in.
I was putting Todd as 50 the first number and the rest of the field at 1 the 2nd number.
my friend found odds in a paper or something one time on a horse that were 1:3 i would've liked to see somebody place a bet...
geez Neal, its like you are retarded! I guess the Devil Rays are a 100 to 1 favorite this year :D
is this still on?
Yes
The cement and red tees will be played.
there are red tees?
is there a map i could find somewhere to see where they are and maybe play them once before the tourney?

There is no map. Most are very easy to find since the are marked by red flags.
67 and sunny tomorrow. looking forward to playing. see you guys out there
5 of us coming up tommorrow, how many others are coming?
I will be there, and i can think of atleast 7-8 other then myself that told me they would be there. Plus i will be telling some more people about it tomorrow at school.
I've been out of town since Thursday and I forgot to post before I left. I'll be out there fairly early Red tees will be marked & temp basket for alternate for #8 will be set up around 2:45. 3 schools will be represented for sure. Libertyville, Warren, & New Trier. See you guys out there.
I think it's just three from Warren. Myself, ninjaboy, and a friend of ours. We'll be there about 3 30. See you out there.
we are leaving glencoe at 345, so depending on traffic we might be a little bit late, see you guys out there, dont start without us, please
Some fun times tonight at Adler Park.
I would like some feedback from those who played. Would you play again?

I would most definately play again. The only problem I saw was that there were many people out on the course that weren't playing in the tournament and that slowed down the tournament a little bit. Maybe if there was another one it could be at bevier or another course that doesn't get as many people playing. But overall I had a great time and I was very impressed by the turnout. Great job Brett, and thanks for the help Dan and Adrian Sr.
Welcome to the slow tournament play process
I'll have to find a way to deal with the number of casual players. Maybe posting a course sign that says tournament in progress, closed from 5 to 7 would work ;). I like Adler because of it's central location. It's easy for many of the surrounding areas to get to. I think if I had advertised this at all it would have easily filled with 45 players.
we had a great time, and would deffinetly play again. thanks for runnning it so well
Brett great job, thanks to dan and adrian, i had alot of fun and so did my friends. they were asking me if any more highschool only were comming up so they sounded like they would play along with myself. Also thank you to those who donated the discs for prizes.
Maybe i'll try to set one up prior to graduation. I doubt there would be any prizes for this one. This time i'd send some info to the schools to try to fill up to max capacity.
Nick said he would of kicked all of your asses.

Yeah, just like Robbie beat Barry Schultz.
lol, but Nick is getting a lot better. He shot a 10 down cali round at farfield that day, not to shaby.
yeah, i'd definately play again. thanks for setting this up, and thanks to all who helped.
I am planning on running this event again this spring. It will be held at Grayslake since Libertyville gets so much play. I would like to try Gurnee but who knows when 7 & 8 will go back in the ground.
Libertyville high school has recently made a frisbee golf club, so i will pass on the information when it is posted,
