alright, it looks like this Saturday we will be setting up a temp course at Aldeen Park here in Rockford. this is where the nine holer will be built so we will probably be plotting out better tee off areas and pin positions. if you folks want to make it out here that'd be real cool. i know k.c. from the quad cities was talking with about six others about coming into rockford, among other places, for the weekend so i'll try to wrangle them over here as well. if the attendance and weather is right it could be a very good time.
take Hwy 39/ 90 to the E. Riverside Exit. Take Riversire west bound for about three miles, go south on Alpine Rd and follow until you see the park on your left hand side.

hey guys - happy holiday weekend to all - it looks like we will have a moderate size crowd at Aldeen tomorrow and at least have seven baskets on hand. i know driving an hour and a half to play a nine holer probabyl isnt what you had in mind for your saturday, but we do have 36 holes across town that are waitng for you as well. stop by and check it out - i told everyone to be threre at 11am so that means that we should have it set up by noon time at the latest. if you can make it and have a basket please do bring it - even if we have nine already (which is unlikely) we can always set up more holes. and if it stays dry we can set up three in an area that is really off the beaten path and makes for some super sick holes. hope to see some of you out there - if you need directions, accomodations, or have questions you can reach me at rockforddiscgolf@hotmail.com or annoy my roommate at 815-670-1279 (please try the e mail first, i will check later tonight and in the morning around 7:30am)
