New ratings went up today around 3:15. The PDGA website went down around 3:20. :o
All I saw was that Kelsey closed the gap between herself and Marie, and Jenny Garland took over first in am women. Kenny, Barry and Stevie are still 1, 2, 3 in Open men.
One of my "No" lefty rounds became a "Yes" and I dropped a point. That's o.k. I like it when the opponents are underestimating me. ;D
Thank god I hit a ridiculous 40 foot putt from the woods on my knees on my last hole at Janesville. That got that round to 859 rated which is just inside 100 points below my rating so that it is still included on my rating ;D Now nobody can accuse me of bagging rounds so they won't be included. Just have to wait 12 months for that to go away now :o
I too had a really crappy (1st) round at Janesville that was within 100 points of my rating, but luckily it was not included in this update. Round 2 was good enough to squeak out a small (3 points) increase anyway.
Not really sure how that happened.
Wow I shoot 990 and 995 rated rounds and my rating only goes up 3 pts. 951 to 954 weeeeek
Ratings Notes:
Rod Fritz, Brett Comincioli: Top 10 Illinois Pros
Jose Diaz, Neal Swanson, and Dan Michler: Top 10 Illinois Ams
Tom Schodtler: +24 this rating period.
Excellent.
Wisconsin has a 984 rated Intermediate player. Looks like he'll be in the advanced division at his next tournament. His detail shows him playing just one tournament and having 939 and 1006 rated rounds at the Wisconsin Tour Warmup.
Ryan Johnson #29274 (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/playerstats.php?PDGANum=29274&year=2006")
Drathe & I played with that guy in the second round at Janesville. He shot -10, didn't make too many mistakes. Also played with a guy playing his first tournament who shot -5 for both rounds and is now rated 958.
Those poor guys might never get to see a double-digit ratings increase :'(.
