Title: Fairfield...swamp discs/hip waders?
Post by: Moog_playa on May 24, 2006, 11:34:47 AM
Hmm...Just wondering if anyone has ever used some hip waders to look for discs.  I haven't lost a disc in a year, but I've lost 4 in the last 3 trips to Fairfield...yellow CE Firebird, orange/yellow Z Wildcat, red champ orc, red DX Valk...all with my name, but they're all in the lake...do I have any hope?

There's a few people that go into the swamp regularly (one with big rubber boots).  None return discs to their owners.  I've asked them before and they've been nice enought to let me look through what they have for discs that belong to people I know, but they aren't returning stuff.  Your best bet is that Neal tends to throw them deep to the right off of 12's tee and I know he and Al go looking often and would definitely return your discs.  I'll keep an eye out as I'm there every day.  I always return the discs I find with names.  The other person who is out there a lot trudging throught the swamp is KVN.  You may want to ask him when you see him around.

Yes I have to many discs of my own.  If I ever find any I just give them away if they do not have a name or find the person.  I have heard of one person that goes in the swamp and return discs but I have only heard of one person getting their disc returned.
