Where is the tournament located? never saw that anywhere.
I didn't see anything about how you figure out which team won either, which is not necessarily obvious since every team event in disc golf has a different system from every other. Is it total team strokes? How it goes matters for how you would want to set your doubles pairs within your team.
It seems to me that since 15 of Wisconsin's 16 women PDGA members have a rating under 875, you really don't have a Rec division. That is mainly your women's division unless someone recruits a pro woman with an intermediate rating to play in their intermediate position.
Anyway, sounds like fun and I hope it is successful. Please post something on how team scoring is going to go, and I'll check our schedule.

1st Question - it is at Tendick Park in Saukville, WI
2nd Question - Total strokes is the scoring process
Please let me know if there are any further questions.
Ahhh. If I'm playing disc golf away from home that weekend I'll be at a sanctioned tournament down towards Joliet. I can't play three rounds Saturday and two Sunday. Even throwing with both arms, I'd run out of useful parts sometime Sunday morning.
But I hope it is successful.
UPDATE #1
As much as we thought it would be a great idea and a good way to get Women into the sport.
We have decided to not make it a requirement for one member of the team to be a Women, Still ENCOURAGED, but not REQUIRED!
If you would like more info please check out the OZDGC TEAM CHALLENGE Website (http://www.ozdgc.com/teamchallenge06.html) or jmitchell@ozdgc.com
hey me and blaine are trying to get a team together for this event. I (andy filipiak) would play the int. and blaine (k-biscuit) would most likely be playing rec. he isn't 100% sure. if there is any open or adv. players that would like to put together a team please pm me. thanks
am, nice attempt with the women and all, looks really good on paper. i think it'd help the women side grow later on, but it's still too small for this to work. i hope that changes soon.
You are right
Almost always it will look good on Paper - but for some reason - once you start to chizle out the work - It just aint looking like it was supposed to.
It is probably the right move. Just not enough women playing tournaments in Wisconsin.
The event wasn't designed to get women who already play - it was designed to get women who have thought about playing to the course and get a feel for what the sport is and if they like it.
In case people are wondering:
There is no players package for this event!
Strictly Cash Payout (Top 45% of Field) - Minus $5/team Course fund (every little bit helps put teepads in)
Thanks,
