Title: Change in preregistration mailing address
Post by: mirth on June 08, 2006, 08:42:06 PM
Hey Disc Golfers -

I have moved. If you plan on mailing in your preregistration for any of the remaining IOS events please send it to my new address. Mail sent to my former address will eventually get here, but as of yet I haven't received any forwarded mail from my old home...

The new mailing address is -

981 Cambridge Dr
Grayslake, IL 60030

all other contact info on the prereg flyer remains the same.

If you have mailed a prereg check for IOS#3 which has not yet cleared your bank and you want to be absolutely sure of reserving your spot, consider preregistering online @ http://store.discontinuum.org
If I get your prereg in the mail after an online prereg I will toss your check in the shredder. Money orders, of course, will be returned...

As of today I don't have any undeposited prereg checks.

This address no longer works?:

Correct.

Mirth=Allan Short

If he says he's moved, he would know.

Well, I wasn't sure if mirth = Allan Short.  Cut me a little slack! Geez.  I live in WI, and I'm and I don't know all the fancy nicknames of you crazy IL people.   ;)

Make sure to change the address on the IOS mainpage.  I mailed my entry out on Monday (as did one of my friends), so I guess I need to re-register.  When the forwarded mail finally gets to you, will you just consider it a registration for IOS#4? (I'll send the IOS#3 stuff straight to the new address).

Oh yes, and why don't I do it online?  I'm too poor, and I play too many tourneys. The extra handling fee adds up.  Next year, when I have a semi-real job, I'll register on-line!!!

Word on the IOStreet is that next year pre-reg will be cheaper than registration at the event.  We would like to do more to encourage pre-reg.  If we could fill on pre-reg a day or two before the event, we could do more TD stuff the day before, get scores up faster, and generally run a better event.

You check for IOS #3 should arrive to his new house in plenty of time if you mailed it on Monday.

Marie / Ben - Mail sent to my old address will be forwarded to my new place, but for the last week our letter carrier hasn't delivered mail to our old place and nothing has been forwarded yet. I'll apply whatever payment comes second to IOS#4. :)

I'm a hyper-paranoid, high-strung, overly-anxious, extremely cautious person.  I needed to send an extra check so I could be at ease.  N

What a relief!  Now I don't need to worry about registration until IOS #5!
