We're heading out today for Peoria :)

Three estrogen filled days of disc golf :) YIPPEE!!

Seriously, folks....This is the tournament I look forward to every year :) Great courses, fun people!

Bruce is running hi-low doubles for $5, 110% payout at 2pm at Northwoods this afternoon! All are welcome!

There are several Discontinuum members playing in the USWDGC this weekend. After the first day Diana is tied for first and Kira is in first. Here's a shot of Tracey Thorpe who was my partner for doubles Thursday night. I couldn't resist breaking my fast from playing disc golf to play doubles at Northwood. Tracey and I took second out of seven teams. Tracey canned this putt on number 17 at Northwood. Her putt might not look like anything special but that basket is on a steep slope. Lots of 20-30 foot tourney rolls on that hole today.

Discontinuum was well represented at the USWDGC this year. Members Diana Brakel, Becky Brakel, Kelsey Brakel and Kira Brakel all played. I didn't recognize any other players as members but if I missed one, I appologize. Kira took first in <16 Jr. Girls. Diana took 2nd in Advanced Masters, Kelsey took 3rd in Advanced and Becky came in 9th in Intermediate.

I took approximately 1,000 pictures and Maddisen took about 2 hours of video.

Jen Haug finished second in intermediate.  She has played some of our tournaments.  Carla did well in Advanced.  Marie Schwinn did not do as well as she had hoped, but still she did well.

Kelsey shot a 921 rated round at Washington, five under par.  She made a big move on the leaders that round and made it into the final Nine.

Kiralyn came within one throw of shooting every one of her rounds at 800+.

Congrats ladies...Also wanted to congratulate the Wisconsin women. In Intermediate they placed 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th. I had three of the ladies stay at my place on Sunday  ;D All said they had a good time at the event.

Jon, when do you think the pictures/video will be available for purchase?

I don't know if Jon and Mike will get a chance to process anything until after IOS finals in a couple of weeks. Jon is also taking 2 classes this fall so that takes up a few evenings  per week. He'll keep the players in the loop :) and let us know the timeline, when he has one.

That was the Junior Under 16 division, Terry, if you are reading.  Very nice article.
