A relatively light turnout for this, nowhere near full, but some big names should be in the final skins match Sunday afternoon, probably around 2 pm.

Schultz & Wield are tied after two rounds; Barry shot 67 (long) and 60 (short), Aaron had 68 and a bogey-free 59 (24 holes). Cam Todd had a 66 in the first round, don't know what he shot the 2nd but he's not in the lead; Ron Russell shot a 70 the first round.

Bingman was 2nd in masters after the first round, but was 7 behind Brad Hammock (masters world champ)

The adv divisions are playing the short tees all 3 rounds, which I didn't know beforehand, but with the way the pins are set it really doesn't make all that much difference.

I've had some good shots; I've had some very bad shots. I don't think I'll DFL, but there's still one more round.

Barry completely wiped everybody this morning with a -9 (longs) in a stiff wind; I think he won by 7 or 8; Wield was 2nd, Dan Bradley (a WI guy I think) 3rd, Cam Todd 4th.

The skins match was entertaining but a full description won't appear from me in a public forum (but no, there weren't any temper tantrums). The four best rounds from the longs (Schultz, Todd, Bradley, Hammock) drew partners who'd bought raffle tickets to the tune of about $700 in addition to the $600 put up by the sponsors. Six safari holes, well over 1000' on average. Everybody had fun; at least one of the raffle partners was *really* having fun.

Oh yeah. I didn't DFL, even with my worst round of the three (it really got windy, but that wasn't an excuse). I didn't even NTDFL, although I sure tried. (Starting out w/ a 6, for one thing). I could've easily taken 3rd had I remembered how to putt, but that probably would've meant about $10 in plastic, so what the heck. Finished 4th, missed 3rd by 2, having been tied for 3rd after both of the first 2 rounds.

I did somehow manage to crank a fluky drive on the c. 680 temp hole this morning - I anhyzered a KC Banshee into a stiff L to R crosswind and that sucker must have gone 450 ft.!! We were all in shock; easily the best drive I've ever had on flat ground.

Thanks for the update Damon.

Congradulations on your 4th place finish.

Thanks Pat. There were only 6 of us, so you're still well ahead on tour points. ;)

Oh, I didn't hold it together. There were just guys shooting worse than I was for a change.
