What are the five Innova discs you are really disappointed if the TD is out of, besides whatever is the Disc of the Moment? I'm ordering Innova sometime shortly after Christmas for my ice bowl in Michigan. But, I'll look at this thread to make sure I have those discs when I order Innova before 2007 IOS #1.
Wraith, Roc, Aviar, Firebird, and Stingray (maybe a toss up with Sidewinder)
But that's just my imho :)
pro wraiths, rocs, gators, orcs, more rocs ( I can't think of a 5th that I would be disappointed if not there)
champ orc, dx aviar, dx classic roc, pro starfire, champ leopard
Champ Firebird, Orc (champ or star), wraiths, Tee-Rex, could care less about anything else (don't throw rocs or aviars)
edit: Everything max weight
Bottom stamped Rocs, Star Gators, DX Rhynos, Star Vikings in the 165-170g range (if they've got 'em out by then or IOS #1)
Can't think of a 5th one either
I'm not sure what I'll be able to throw ???
These are most of the discs i've seen thrown this year.
1. Star Wraith
2. Star TeeRex
3. DX Roc
4. Aviar--molds
5. ???? Many
CFR Wraiths
DX Rocs
Dx Aviars
Champion Orcs
Star Teerex

If you are going to play left handed while you are laid off and broken, I'd recommend a 150 Sidewinder. Post if you don't have one. E-mail me your address.
I didn't see a difference between my z-express and the sidewinder.....would it really make a difference?
1. Max Weight DX Aviar
2. Champion Orc
3. Champion Sidewinder
4. Star Coyote
5. DX Aero/Stingray
Not if you don't see a difference. For learning to throw off-handed you have to throw more understable than what you'd throw with the go-to hand.
But but but... what if you're ALREADY left handed (some of us really are!)?? :P
Orcs
Teerex
Wraiths
after that i don't care
Star Wraith
HEAVY Rocs, DX or KC
DX Firebird
Champ Orc
Aviars of all kinds
The only Innova discs in my bag:
1. Star TeeRex
2. Star Leopard
3. Aviar
4. Pre-Barry Signature Beast (probably won't have these available)
I would recommend the following:
1. Star TeeRex
2. Star Wraith
3. Roc
4. Aviar
5. Any of the new Star discs (Eagle, Max, Gator, Spider, Rhyno, Aviar Driver)
I love Innova disc's
The five I like are
1. Star Wraith
2. Champion Orc
3. Champion Edition Firebird
4. DX Roc
5. Pro Line Ryno/also gotta have the Aviar
1) D-Challenger
2) old school cyclones
3) Z-buzz
4) Z-talon
5) X Avenger
if a big course, i swap out the old school cyclones for a Z-crush.

Your in luck then! Bruce never runs out of these.
I don't leave home without:
1) Pro Wraith max weight
2) Pro line Firebird max weight
3) 1st run CE TL max weight
4) San Marino Roc 177g (big bird baby!!!)
5) 10x KC Pro Aviar 173g

I don't leave home without:
1) Pro Wraith max weight
2) Pro line Firebird max weight - OOP
3) 1st run CE TL max weight - OOP
4) San Marino Roc 177g (big bird baby!!!) - OOP
5) 10x KC Pro Aviar 173g - OOP
I think Bruce is looking for ideas for an order to Innova, not all of the out-of-production discs you enjoy throwing. They are all sweet discs, but 4/5 are discs that you can't get from Innova in mass quantities.
Bruce, if you can find a couple of 175 Bulldogs I'll take them next spring. They're supposedly OOP, some online places still have them but I've got a stack of brass I need to unload so I can wait...
1) Star aviar
2) DX aviar
how can you play if you dion't have a putter?
3) pro wraith
4) CFR wraith
5) pro orc

Damon, if you can find someone who has them for trade or sale we might work out a three-way deal. They are out of production and out of stock. Innova has more molds X plastic types than they casn produce right now, so they are only producing the fastest selling discs, which is too bad because there really is not another disc like the Bulldog.
--------------------------------
The original question on the thread was five discs you are disappointed if the TD does not have, but I mistitled the thread. I doubt if anyone is ever disappointed when the TD does not have stuff that has been out of production/out of stock for over a year.
With Innova, if there is something you really like, you should get five of them, and then start stockpiling. You never know when a perfectly good disc like the Beast is going to be pulled from production and replaced by some other disc with the same name or not replaced at all.

...they are only producing the fastest selling discs, which is too bad because there really is not another disc like the Bulldog.
...unless you attach a 5 gram weight to a Hydra. Dunipace admitted it's essentially the same disc...

... so why he's continuing the Hydra, which most people seemed to laugh at, and discontinuing the Bulldog, which people were raving about, is another mystery of the business world I'll never get...
(Hey Mirth, http links don't format here like they used to. I wanted to highlight the sentence w/ Dunipace as a link to the webpage. What am I doing wrong?)
;D
Teebird
Valkerie
Starfire
Orc
Pick A putter
1 Flat top rocs haven't been able to find any anywhere
2 Pro wraiths
terry had flat top rocs at his tournament saturday. prolly about 10 still left.
I've only been playing on and off since July of "06, and I've only just started throwing and selling Innova discs over the last 2 months, but so far i'm impressed with the :
Star Wraith - I seem to be able to throw it further that my Pulse and Surge
Star SL - I just love the flight line of this disc
Star Orc - I've not thrown the Orc too much yet, but the flight line it "should" take is nice
It's not 5, but what can you do. I did just add the 2007 Pro Worlds Champion Wraith in my bag, and a Star Max.
Color wise I like the neon Green Innova uses, it almost glows in the dark.
Jason
What is a flat top Roc? What kind of plastic is it made out of?
I can probably make flat top Rocs if i know what Roc to start with! ;D
Flat top Rocs are usually DX Ching Rocs. I'm pretty sure they are so much flatter than their domey dx counterparts due to the full color stamp that is applied.
So like a classic roc?
I had someone looking for flat top star stingrays a couple of weeks ago. All of mine have a domey look to it... not sure what he was looking for. Some kind of magical disc?

No, a classic roc is a completely different mold from a dx roc. Different diameter, different rim, different in every way. They are talking about a DX Roc that has been flattened by the application of a Ching colormax stamp. Diana might have one in her box of stuff she does not throw. She used to throw almost all Ching.
I will "look around" and see if I have any flat top dx rocs. If I look hot enough, i mean, hard enough, I'm sure i can find some. >:D

I've seen the flat top Star Stingrays. Diana has one of those she's not giving up but for big cash. No matter how hot I look for those, I don't think I can find any. Star plastic is less malleable than DX.
Like I said b4, Terry (or whoever the vender was at "last chance 2006") had some flat top rocs at his last tournament. he may still have a few.
ROC!(obvious but desrves it), teebird, valkyire, leopard
Aviar-X, Roc, Teebird, TeeRex, Pred
Five discs should be the five molds in your bag.
