Title: PDGA Page
Post by: CEValkyrie on February 02, 2002, 07:23:55 PM
Was checking out PDGA page tonight. Saw you name listed with all your info Jim. Nice!! You can find people & look @ their information. Go to links & then people. It is pretty cool. We should all do this. Jim, I hope you don't mind but I put your website as a link from my name. Figured it might draw a few more people. Also, have you thought about adding e-mail addresses from that page to your newsletter list. Just wondering. Check it out everyone.

I did some checking about the PDGA Affilliate Club and it seems that their policies have changed slightly since the last time I checked.

Probably means we need 15 or 20 PDGA members now or something like that....

Congrats to Brent!!!  I hope you all got the latest and greatest Disc Golf World News - maybe I am biased, but MAN THAT MAG ROCKS!!!

As far as PDGA club members, I'll have to double-check. Maybe 9 total now???? I did some checking about the PDGA Affilliate Club and it seems that their policies have changed slightly since the last time I checked.  I will get more in depth soon.

More like no mention of insurance, or much more than standard discounts and a goal of interclub play. When I spoke with Cliff Towne (Affilliate Club Director) and Brian Hoeniger (PDGA Administrator), they said insurance would be a possibility only if the event were PDGA-sanctioned.  I plan on continuing to badger them to get what small clubs like ours need.

I see no one else has signed onto this but Jim & I. It is cool & I think it is a good way to support the club & put your info on it. I actually e-mailed a guy who signed up a few weeks ago telling him about the club & he said he knew Myk from school & he may come out when the weather warms up. go to www.pdga.com  click on links & then people. You can sign up & search individuals.
