the best part of that story isn't even the porn, its that he decided to go in with a sword.
This was all over the news this morning. They showed the mug shot of the swordsman and a quick shot of the movie watcher, sitting on a couch smiling.
You would think that the movie watcher could have walked the swordsman (couldn't help using that term here) to the TV room, pointed at the screen and said, "Dude, there she is. Wanna go rescue her? I don't think she needs your help. She appears to be getting all the help she can handle." I suspect he would have immediately dropped his sword and lost interest. I don't even want to know about the status of the video watcher's weapon.
perhaps his interest may have changed...
obviously the swordsman was not a rational individual. how does a person not call the police in that situation, or atleast get some other people to help him or something instead of going in with a sword. you don't reason with a man who is waving around a sword. i think i'd be less scared of a guy with a gun than a guy with a sword. i imagine the violent snatch watcher was too scared to try to reason with him at first.
on the other hand, the skin flute guy has some obvious issues as well.
I doubt she was screaming, "Help me!", rather, well....
