Title: ITS A BOY!!!!
Post by: mirth on July 03, 2002, 10:27:25 AM
Hey all, apologies for missing leagues yesterday but I was a little occupied helping Gavin Aaron Short come into the world at 6:36PM last night.

He had a couple little problems but nothing that the doctors and nurses couldn't help him get through.

Regardless, he's a healthy baby boy weighing in at 8lbs 4oz & measuring 21"!

So, sad as it is for my game, many of you probably won't be seeing me on the course for a little while. Its probably better this way anyhow. After all, it will give my arm a chance to stop throwing so damn far! ;-)

Fear not, for you all shall see me again. :)

If anyone is interested in pictures I have some scanned and put online at http://www.theshortpeople.com

They are all that we have right now, and are from when he was just a few minutes old before he was whisked off to the nursery.

More will be coming as we get rolls developed.

Congrats to Beth and Mirth and Gavin!  Woo-hoo!  Now the the fun begins!  Best of luck to all the short people - may health and a light heart allow you to enjoy all this life has to offer!

If you guys need anything, like Huggies coupons or a babysitter, just call.

PS. May you never get pee in your eyes.

CONGRATS! That's a good excuse to get out of leagues. I'll accept that one.
