I was wondering what has been happening at Sinnissippi? It is my home course and I know that last year there was no tournament and this year I see no plans for one. A club there is long overdue and I think could help in setting up a tournament (among other things for discgolf in the area). Are there any players on this board from the area that would like to see this also? And for players not from the area, is there any interest from your side in seeing a tournament again? Any comments would help, thanks...
A tournament is definitely overdue there. So work on getting one set up and I'll come out and vend ;) (seriously too) I don't live out there but I'm sure that there are plenty of people out that way that would be willing to work on supporting a club.
Do you know Jetman? If not, I can put you in touch with him. I know the he too would like to see a well run tourney and/or club there, and he has the experience and merchandise concession to do it with some help.
Do not count on the previous TD, he is likely to do nothing again this year.
I have attempted several times to get Discontinuum involved, but to no avail. I guess they find Sterling too geographically undesireable.
I would like to see the Sinnissippi open re-born. That is definately one of the best courses in the state and makes a great venue for a tournament.

It's not geographically undesirable. It's a fantastic course & we'd love to host a tournament there. We just cannot. With am & pro worlds + running 6 events it's just not doable for me this year.
I am from Sterlin and my brother in law (Classic_ROCer) is from Rock Falls. We would love to see a tournement run there.
