Title: Damaged baskets
Post by: jsun3thousand on May 03, 2007, 08:06:19 PM
In my last two disc golf outings, I have come upon two severely damaged holes. Hole 8 in Kirkland is practially destroyed. The supports for the chains are either bent or broken and the basket is hanging on by the chains. The basket for hole 6 in St. Charles is separated from the pole and is supported up by two large logs. This vandalism really upsets me, especially on hole 6 because it is the site of my second ace. The damage in St. Charles is repairable. Welding the basket back on to the pole will solve the problem. The damage in Kirkland is not repairable and to add to this problem, the basket is a loaner. Has anyone dealt with getting damaged baskets repaired, and what is the best way to go about completing the repairs? Jason
