Played at Adler this afternoon. Ended up playing with a guy named Mike Brown. He was wasted!! Had a bottle of scotch in his bag. We played the alternates. I knew Adler had alternates but they are impossible to find. I FINALLY hit a ACE on alternate #5. Threw a forehand hyzer (CE Firebird) that crashed in the basket!
Hoo-ha on the ace! Now do that shiznit at leagues!
WooHoo! Way to go Brettski! Did the "liquid courage" help? :-)
Yeah! He had blonde hair, was tall & skinny. He was hammered. He could barely find his discs but he actually wasn't throwing that bad. It was very interesting.
I remember where a few of them are but they are very hard to find. I doubt there is a map. The best way to find them is to ask a local Adler player. I know they use the alternates for their leagues. Not sure when though.
they have them marked with very small stakes. each stake barely sticks out of the ground. if you don't have a general idea of where they are at, you will never find them.
Oh Yeah!!! You're the man! So much for having a credible witness, though.
I had the pleasure of playing with a guy at Northwoods that brought along 8 beers in his bag, after 8 holes or so he said that he should of grabbed the other 4. He reminded me of Barry Schultz with a perfect drive, very smooth and put almost everything in from 80ft. It was very discouraging, when we got to our 14th hole he ran to his cabin and got the other 4 beers which was about 200 yards away. He ended up winning 2nd place. I have a feeling that he will be a one of the top Pros in a year or two if his liver holds out.
Congratz on the sweet shot!!
Nice Shot Brett
You had to make one sooner or later. I was there yesterday too. I think I saw that guy there. Did he have short blonde hair, and was kinda tall and lanky? He was mumbling and was really upset, then gave my brother a warped disc, and imediately took it back!
i never knew that adler had alternates? does anyone have any kind of map for them?
