Title: Summit Open
Post by: tacimala on July 17, 2007, 11:22:49 AM
So I've seen a lot of people saying that they weren't going to go and maybe only one that said they were. Is anyone going to be there on Sunday?

All good, most Adv players are saving energy/money/birdie putts for Worlds.

I'm working 12 hours on Saturday and then going out for a night of debauchery. Assuming I'm not inebriated, incarcerated, or otherwise incapacitated come Sunday morning, I'll be there with my Disc Golf Mafia brothers to help spread our unique brand of mischief and mayhem. DGM, partner!

There is no better place for the Disc Golf Mafia to make an appearance than the Summit Open.

Good luck!

Well what did some of the winning scores end up being this weekend in Summit ??

Scores are already up for both days, definitely well put together and executed from start to finish by the Kamm's. Rob Strasser won open with a 4 down and 2 down. Course record is now 4 down and it is shared by 4 people I believe. Advanced winner was Allen Hermosillo with a round of 1 over and even. Hot round in advanced was 1 down by Garrett Podgorski.

It would have been interesting to see the ratings all as one instead of the split days. A 1 over during round 2 was 8 points higher today than yesterday.

No problem. We still got to HP OotP in time to get middle seats half way up at the Imax theater!

That's pretty much the same rating. 8 points is less than 1 throw on an average 18 hole course. That's probably within the margin of error.
