Title: Innova Backsaver
Post by: Myk on August 08, 2007, 09:06:38 AM
Has anyone ever heard of these before?  If so, how do they compare to the Quad Shocks?  The reason I ask is because I broke my Quad Shocks a month or two ago and need to replace them.  With shipping and handling, the Innova Backsaver is only about $5 less from Chain Reaction (http://www.chainreactiondiscgolf.com/BAGSTRAPS/bagstraps.htm) than Quad Shocks from the club.  Let me know if anyone has had any experience with this brand.

I'm surprised that they have some of those in stock right now because shortly after Innova announced they were available to order they were no longer available and have not been since then (since the beginning of the year).  Rumor has it that the straps were recalled due to bad stitching?  I guess results may vary if you order them, but the price is definitely a good one.

I can't confirm the recall on the backsaver straps, perhaps someone else can?  My theory always has been that it was a patent violation on the quad shocks and Innova pulled it for that reason.

Yes, Innova doesn't have them in stock because of QC issues with the stitching. Myk, contact me.
